Counter-Strike 2 is now available to play for free on Steam. Serving as an upgrade, the game has replaced CS:GO on the store and brings a ton of improvements ranging from better lighting to new assets, volumetric smoke, and a responsive sub-tick architecture. Valve has also introduced a new ranking system that shows your skill rating among the world’s best, alongside the option to refund any weapons accidentally purchased during the buy time.
