Rex era o líder da gangue em seus primeiros anos de adolescência, muito antes de perder a memória e se juntar a Providência. A intenção natural do grupo era socializar entre si, sendo que todos eles eram EVOs. No entanto, depois que Rex os traiu e vendeu a um EVO crimelord chamado Quarry, eles começaram a saquear.
