THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, the anime is back and right off the bat, we got a flashback episode from 12 years ago. Honestly, I kinda see what they're aiming for to flesh out the main characters again but at this point, I wish they build more into the present story. Regardless, it's reaffirming the importance of Marlya and Veronica's relationship in this franchise. I'm going to keep my expectations low for the second season but really, really hope it improves.
